the mocking bird hears the pain of trees, and animals being slain but what can he do to stop the animals at the food chains top they hunt for fun they kill for rush life coming undone when it was once lush and the mockingbird sings the songs of life and death in with every breath how can it sing? with the souls of its kin flying through our sins the smoke hurts its chest as it does its best to remember the sound of the beauty all around before it is gone and it sings its last song of death we caused remember and pause for the Mockingbird’s song
